3 New Ways to Have Fun With Snow
Snowmen and snow angels can get old fast. So next time there’s a winter storm, try eating the snow instead!
Is it safe? Yes, say experts. Snow eaten in moderate amounts, especially outside urban areas, is harmless -- just make sure it’s fresh and clean. Bundle up the family and head outside on a snow-gathering mission with delectable results. These quick and easy snow recipes are a new -- and tasty -- way to enjoy the winter weather together.
We All Scream for Snow Cream
For a group of kids, gather about six to eight cups of snow -- the freshly fallen, fluffy variety works best -- and bring it into the kitchen for some serious flavor enhancing. Use a can of sweetened condensed milk as the creamy addition or combine 8 ounces of whipping cream with roughly 1/2 cup of sugar. Combine your ingredients in a separate bowl and add flavoring as you like -- extracts like vanilla, orange or mint work well -- then add to the snow and serve quickly.
(Real) Snow Cones
Who needs a snow cone machine when you’ve got the makings of the real thing in your front yard? Combine clean snow with something sweet and fruity. For a healthy alternative, skip artificially flavored syrups in favor of defrosted fruit juice concentrate. The kids will be just as excited, and you’ll be sneaking in a couple of extra servings of fruit into their diet.
Stretchy Snow Taffy
Snow taffy is a Canadian treat that’s sure to please your crowd. Simply boil 1/2 cup of real maple syrup until it reaches 235 F -- a candy thermometer is key -- and drizzle it over a pan full of fresh packed snow. Allow the syrup to cool for a few minutes, and then dig in!

Well done! I like the feel of these pictures. They ctupare the rustic theme of the wedding beautifully. You would think the more monotone colours would get a little boring, but they dont, they draw you in somehow. It also helps that the bride looks as though she could be Taylor Swifts sister. Bravo

The mechanism used to coervnt solar energy is called a photovoltaic cell. Solar cells are built of a mostly silicon compound, which leaves some atoms with loose electrons. These electrons are knocked free by the energy of the sun and, if attached to a circuit, will charge the battery like any AC charger. A car can be run very simply Just use an electric car, with batteries being charged by a solar panel on the roof or at a filling port (similar to a gas station). The fastest solar car I know of is the Nuna 2 (105 mph)Hope this helps
